This ring comes from the estate collection of billionaire Dorrance H. Hamilton.  She was the granddaughter and heir of the man (John Thompson Torrance) who owned the Campbell Soup Company and invented the patented process for condensed soup, turning it into the conglomerate it is today. 
Wonderful history and provenance accompanies this ring!! 
The ring is set with an approximate 17.2mm baroque South Sea pearl within a channel-set tapering baguette diamond surround; estimated total diamond weight: 3.77 carats, mounted in platinum.

The overall condition is very good.  
There are 28 diamonds, baguette cut, G-H color, VS clarity 
The diamond gallery features a well made wire mount for the pearl.  The pearl has a ridge in it, common for many large south seas pearls.
