Vintage 1950s Estate 18k Gold 4.70ct Blue Sapphire Diamond Cluster Cocktail Ring

This impressive vintage 1950s estate ring is set in 18k gold featuring a beautiful central blue sapphire (refraction tested at 1.76-1.77) measuring approximately 8mm x 7.85mm.  The gemstone is further set with a halo cluster of marquise, brilliant and baguette cut fine diamonds of G color and VS quality, total carat weight approximately 1.66 carats.  

The ring top face measures approximately 23mm long by 20mm wide

The weight of the ring is 7.8 grams. 

The ring is tested for 18k gold purity and marked with punch marks on the outside shank.

The ring is currently a size 6 and may easily be resized.
